  • Practice: Players are required to train in their GREEN training shirt, black shorts, black socks and must bring with them their training suit,  backpack, both pinnies, water, shin guards and cleats.

  • Games: Player are required to bring ALL uniform pieces to each game as we may have to change and adjust the uniform before game time. This includes both game jerseys, both game shorts, both color game socks, practice shirt, their training suit, SCP backpack, both pinnies, water, shin guards and cleats.

  • Game Arrival: Players are to arrive in the red training top, whatever shorts and sock color is designated by the coach and their training jacket and pants along with the SCPYS backpack. Shin guards are a REQUIRED piece of equipment at every training session and game.

  • Tournaments: Player are required to bring ALL uniform pieces to each game as we may have to change and adjust the uniform before game time. This includes both game jerseys, both game shorts, both color game socks, practice shirt, their training suit, SCPYS backpack, both pinnies, snacks/lunch, water, shin guards, cleats and weather-appropriate necessities.

  • Uniform Color Designation: The coach will update Team Snap to designate colors for games but, the standard color designation for games is: White/Black/Black for HOME games;  All RED for AWAY games. For Tournaments, coaches will designate a color for each day based on opponents’ colors, home/away status and weather/field conditions.

  • Shin Guards: Required soccer equipment at all training sessions and games.

  • Shirts (game day): Should be tucked in.  This is part of presenting a professional, ready-to-play appearance and it is also part of the discipline we expect of our players and teams.

  • Bags: Equipment bags should be lined up parallel to the sideline at games and practices. Players should place items not being used in the backpack to keep tidy, but also to avoid someone taking the wrong item by mistake.

  • Undergarments for cold weather: If a player chooses to wear undergarments that will be visible, such as long-sleeved shirts under the jersey, compression shorts, etc - these must match the color of the jersey. Note that FIFA (the international governing body for football/soccer) mandate that undergarments match the game shirt and short colors.

  • Goalkeepers ONLY may wear long pants; field players may only wear under-shorts. Under-shirts (long or short-sleeved) must be body-fitting and not loose or bulky, such as Under Armor or similar brands. No sweatshirts are to be worn under game jerseys.

Again, for unity and professional appearance, we require all items to be consistent.
