ABOUT THE REC SOCCER PROGRAM

SCP Kenilworth Rec Soccer is offered to local and out of town residents between the ages of 3 through 10. The players are placed on teams with classmates, friends and other players looking to enjoy the beautiful game of soccer!  SCP Coaches & volunteer parent coaches teach the fundamentals of soccer while placing the main focus on having fun, learning the game and fair play. The program is run by Speed Conditioning Performance Youth Soccer in collaboration with the Kenilworth Recreation Department.

REC PROGRAM REGISTRATION

Recreational soccer fees include the registration fee and the NJYS based registration fee. 
Each child MUST bring a mask ,shin guards, cleats, and a water bottle to each practice/game.

Future Stars

Ages 9 to 10, Co-Ed 

$185 Players born  2011,2012


Intercounty Soccer is a semi-competitive program. Teams participate in the Suburban Youth Soccer League (SYSL) which is comprised of neighboring towns. Games are assigned by the league. There are no team tryouts and all players will receive playing time. Inter-county soccer provides a more convenient alternative to travel soccer programs and provides all players an opportunity to play and develop a passion for the game of soccer. 8-10 week program

Registration includes shirt, shorts and socks.

Little Stars

Ages 5 to 8 , Co-Ed

$150 Players born 2013,2014,2015,2016


Practice one time per week for 8 weeks. Practice will be held on weekday evenings, typically Monday through Thursday and time will be assigned by the coach. Practice will start no earlier then 5:30pm. Practice will be held on Kenilworth fields. Games are played on Saturday mornings between 9am and 12pm.  This program focuses on player development and game awareness.

Registration includes shirt, shorts and socks.

Mini Stars

Ages 3 and 4, Co-Ed

$105 Children born 2017,2018

The program offers an introduction to soccer, with an emphasis on balance, coordination and confidence. Repetition, high energy and celebrating achievements are key components to our intro to soccer program. This is a co-ed program and will be held on Saturday mornings by SCPYS. This is a 7 week program. Start times can vary between 9am and 11am.

Includes ball and shirt.
