Competitive teams representing SCP across Central Jersey — playing in the MNJYSA and EDP Soccer leagues. Where players are made.
Our core competitive program, ages 8–15, playing a full Fall–Winter–Spring season across Central Jersey leagues. Teams are selected through tryouts each spring — by invite, or by trying out and being selected on performance. Coaches assess and place each team in the league and division that fits them best.
Registration covers fall, winter, and spring league play — including referee fees, player carding, and insurance, plus two tournaments (additional tournaments are extra).
Starting with the 2026–2027 season (beginning August 1, 2026), U.S. Soccer, US Youth Soccer, and US Club Soccer are shifting from calendar birth-year (Jan 1–Dec 31) to an August 1–July 31 age group cycle. The change is happening across the NJ & US Youth Soccer platform. This change aims to align soccer teams with school-year grades, reducing "trapped players."
SCP Travel teams compete in the MNJYSA (Mid-New Jersey Youth Soccer Association) and EDP Soccer leagues, playing clubs from across Central Jersey and beyond. New to travel soccer? See our full rundown of leagues, credentials & terms on the Resources page →
The travel registration portal is only for players who've received an invite from an SCP Travel Director or Coach after tryouts — see the full tryout policy & procedures for how rosters are decided. Selected players are also subject to our Uniform Policy, Travel Refund Policy, and Parent Code of Conduct.
Tryouts for 2026–2027 have concluded. Check back here or follow us on social for the 2027–2028 sign-up announcement.
