Uniform policy.

Practice

• Only SCP Youth Soccer uniform items shall be worn while at training and games.
• Players are required to train in their green training shirt, black shorts, and black socks, and must bring their training suit, backpack, both pinnies, water, shin guards, and cleats.
• Shin guards are a required piece of equipment at every training session and game.

Games

• Players are required to bring ALL uniform pieces to each game — both game jerseys, all game shorts, all game socks, practice shirt, training suit, SCP backpack, both pinnies, water, shin guards, and cleats.
• Game arrival: players arrive in whatever uniform was designated by the coach for the game, plus jacket and pants along with the SCPYS backpack. Only SCPYS gear is to be worn at games.
• Shirts should be tucked in on game day — part of presenting a professional, ready-to-play appearance.

Tournaments

• Players are required to bring ALL uniform pieces to each tournament — both game jerseys, all game shorts, all game socks, snacks/lunch, water, shin guards, cleats, and weather-appropriate necessities. Only SCPYS gear is to be worn at tournaments.
• Uniform color designation: the coach will update TeamSnap to designate colors for games, but the standard designation is White/Black/Black for HOME games and All RED for AWAY games. For tournaments, coaches designate a color each day based on opponents' colors and conditions.

Bags & equipment

Equipment bags should be lined up parallel to the sideline at games and practices. Players should place items not in use inside the backpack.

Undergarments

Any visible undergarments must match the color of the jersey, per FIFA mandate. Goalkeepers only may wear long pants; field players may only wear under-shorts.
